“I have made a decision that is changing my life. I am a candidate for Collin County Clerk. This is a huge undertaking and I am very excited with this decision. I want to enlist your support and your vote in the March 7th primary election.

The County Clerk's office serves the majority of all citizens in Collin County on many levels such as: issuing Marriage License, Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, Assume Name Certificates and Bail Bond Checks. This office also records every land transaction on real estate. In addition to filing all the court cases in County Court at Law, Probate and Mental Department. The Clerk's office also oversees the Treasury Office.

I have over eighteen (18) years experience in the Collin County Clerk's Office serving as Chief Deputy for the last eight (8) years, I have served under Helen Starnes, who served Collin County for forty (40) years. Many people have encouraged me to run for this position. In light of the astronomical growth in Collin County in the last 10 years, it is imperative this important office be managed by a person with experience, knowledge and leadership abilities. I am the most qualified candidate in all these areas.

I will apply the experience I have gained to serve all taxpayers in Collin County. As taxpayers we all understand the importance of operating within a budget as well as delivering a cost effective service. I plan to manage the County Clerk's Office wisely and efficiently.
